Welcome

With more than 30 years working in the fields of psychology, education, and human development, I offer depth-oriented coaching for individuals who feel that something essential within them is ready to unfold more fully. My aim is to support people who wish to bring greater authenticity, purpose, beauty, creativity, and vitality into their lives.

My background includes practice as a PhD-level psychologist (now retired) and a long-standing interest in questions of meaning, identity, and human flourishing.

My approach is holistic in nature and informed by contemporary understandings of health and well-being, Transpersonal and Jungian psychologies, and selected wisdom traditions.

A central aspect of my work is creating a warm, safe, and trusting environment where clients can explore what matters most to them in a manner and at a pace that feels comfortable.

The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you are.
— Joseph Campbell

Who I work with

My work is best suited to thoughtful, reflective individuals who feel ready to engage with the next stage of their lives and are exploring questions of authenticity, meaning, and well-being, as well as the role that beauty plays in living fully. Such questions often emerge during midlife or other times of personal or cultural change.

My work may be especially meaningful to those who

  • are navigating midlife or other important transitions

  • are questioning inherited definitions of success or identity

  • seek to rewrite their life story

  • want to free themselves from limiting beliefs and behaviours

  • wish to explore a deeper spiritual dimension to life

  • long for a greater sense of meaning and purpose

  • are integrating earlier life achievements with current goals and aspirations

  • desire to experience more beauty and pleasure in their lives

  • are intellectually gifted or creatively inclined and uncomfortable with the typical priorities of modern life

Is coaching right for you?

Coaching is appropriate for psychologically healthy individuals who wish to grow and make intentional changes in their lives.

In contrast to psychological treatment coaching specifically emphasizes personal and spiritual growth, and the conscious shaping of one’s life.

Coaching provides both a reflective and a forward-looking experience for individuals to deepen their understanding of themselves, clarify their values, and consciously create lives that feel more authentic and meaningful.

Coaching is a collaborative and reflective process shaped by each person’s unique values, questions, and life direction.

Sessions are by telephone or online via Zoom

If you feel drawn to my work, the best way to begin is with a brief conversation.
This allows us to explore what you are seeking, address any questions you may have,

and determine whether our working together would be a good fit.
